In the heart of Seregno, in a setting rich in historical heritage, we conceived of an ever-changing space, in which every nook and cranny can take on different aesthetic or functional connotations, where moments of reading and reflection are alternated with moments of conviviality, play, dissemination, and art. An exhibition gallery where the book plays the leading role, floating in suspension at the centre of the space and, or moving as a fragment on the backlit walls. A play room is allocated to children, who are free to express themselves by drawing on a 4-meter blackboard wall. The crypt provides an architectural opportunity for cultural encounters, exhibitions, events, and film projections. Multimedia tools for use by visitors cast this setting into the world and vice versa.
